Job Description

The Senior Electrical Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering complex electrical construction projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. This role oversees all phases of project execution-from pre-construction planning through closeout-ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven experience managing large-scale commercial, infrastructure, or industrial electrical projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple electrical construction projects simultaneously from pre-construction through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and work plans
  • Coordinate closely with field supervision, engineering, estimating, procurement, and subcontractors
  • Review and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, state/local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Drive project profitability through cost control, labor planning, and change management
  • Lead project meetings with clients, inspectors, engineers, and internal stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers, engineers, and administrative staff
  • Oversee quality control, safety performance, and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business and project opportunities
